Student assistant at Clean Heat Partners

We are looking for talented and engaged student assistants for approximately 10-20 hours weekly. Your background could be a BSc-, BEng- or MSc-student in mechanical-, sustainable- or process engineering or equivalent.

At Clean Heat Partners we develop and implement large scale refrigeration systems and heat pumps, which contribute to decarbonizing society and making thermal energy supply more sustainable. We are seeking student assistants who are as passionate about thermal energy systems, sustainability and project development as we are. If you have any experience with programming or mathematical modelling that is highly valuable. We mainly work with Python, EES (Engineering Equation Solver) and AutoCAD.

Examples of task you would be doing:

Researching and evaluating specific equipment based on scientific or industrial literature as well as numerical analysis.
Thermodynamic modelling of different refrigeration and heat pump systems to evaluate different designs and their effect on physical and economic performance.
Developing smaller pieces of software that simplify tasks either for internal use or for clients.
Developing and implementing control strategies and automatization for refrigeration and heat pump systems, with additional IoT and machine learning capabilities.
Aiding in process design; creating PI-diagrams, writing documentation and much more.

Examples of projects that we are currently working on are:

Co-developing high and very high temperature heat pumps.
Detailed design of industrial refrigeration with natural refrigerants.
Developing large scale heat pumps for district heating within Denmark.
Advanced simulation of highly complex thermal equipment and systems.

Our office is located at Valhøjs Alle 158, 2610 Rødovre and we are flexible with working remotely.
